In attempt to manage and maintain law and order, the Police Department has been conducting raids all across the state. In the past two weeks, 17th January to 31st January, the Department has seized a grand total seizure amount of Rs 21,82,00,938 (Twenty one crores eighty two lakhs nine hundred and thirty eight)

·Narcotics and drugs - Rs 5,39,48,028

·Other Contraband - Rs 15,18,94,000

·Arms & Ammunition and other explosive - Rs 50, 900

·Other seizures - Rs 39, 92,000

It also encouraged the public for cooperation and support during this period.
