A training for maintenance of Accounts of Election Expenditure by the contesting candidates/election agents was conducted on 11th February 2023 at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, Kohima.

Addressing the trainees, RO for 10 Northern Angami - I AC and ADC, Kohima, Rhosietho Ngouri requested them to work together as a team for the successful conduct of election process and sought their active support and cooperation for the whole process.

PowerPoint presentation on the topic 'Day to day accounts register, Annexure-E1 (Part A)’ was given by AEO, Lian; ‘Cash Register for maintenance of day to day accounts Annexure-El (Part B)’ by AEO, Santosh; ‘Bank Register for maintenance of day to day accounts Annexure-El (Part C)’ by AEO, Sokenye Tep; ‘Schedule 1-4 of Annexure E2’ by AEO, Lovejoy Thanjom; ‘Schedule 5-8 of Annexure E2’ by AEO, T. Thangou; ‘Schedule 9-11 of Annexure E2’ by AEO, Andy; ‘Part I to IV of Annexure E2’ by AEO, Kyochamo.

Expenditure Observer, Shyam Kumar also spoke on ‘Inspection on Accounts’ while Question and Answer session, interaction on each topic was carried out by Expenditure Observer, Samatha Mullamudi. Closing remark was delivered by Olivi Thurr, Assistant Election Officer, Kohima. The training programme was chaired by Nodal Officer, EEM Bokato Hesso. Handbook on ‘Monitoring of expenditure registration for maintenance of day to day accounts of election expenditure by contesting candidates’ was also distributed to all the trainees.
