Block Task Force on COVID-19, Bhandari, held a meeting at the conference hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, today, the 13th of April, 2020.
After discussing on issues relating to the stranded citizens, the BTF decided that all the returnees would be given fourteen days compulsory Quarantine time at the Quarantine centres which have been arranged with necessary facilities.
The district administration, Bhandari in collaboration with the Lotha Lower Range Public Organization, Students' Union, Lotha Hoho, Bhandari, Eloe Hoho and other Civil societies set up different committees to assist the returnees and to help in functioning of the Quarantine centres at Bhandari, in order to ensure health safety and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic within the community.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, NCS who chaired the meeting called on the members to continue to carry out their respective roles in a continuous fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and also told the various committee members that comprised the civil society leaders to be ready with all necessary statistical information required to act upon earnestly, to secure maximum capacity building and safety measures for all concerned.
