In reference to the Press Council of India's Advertisement notice dated July 2nd, 2023, the deadline for submitting entries for the National Awards for Excellence in Journalism has been extended. The new last date for receiving entries is August 31st, 2023, before 5:00 p.m.

Applicants who have already submitted their entries are not required to reapply. Detailed information about the modalities and rules of the awards can be found on the Council's official website: www.presscouncil.nic.in.
