The newly constituted team of the CANSSEA (Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees' Association) Phek District Unit convened its inaugural Executive Council Meeting on August 2, 2023. During the meeting, several pertinent issues concerning the welfare of the Association were discussed, and specific directives were issued to various departments under Phek.

The key actions and directives decided upon during the meeting are as follows: Membership Fee Collection: Each department is mandated to collect the membership fees for the last three years, starting from 2021 to 2023. The fee is set at Rs. 600 per individual for three years period. The House authorized the following officials from the CANSSEA Phek District Unit to oversee this task: Khoto Rhakho, President; Niekhoyi Rhakho, Finance Secretary; Besuta Venyo, Treasurer; Kuvemudo Tunyi, Vice President Sub-Div: Pfutsero; Akhro Ritse, Jt. Secy Sub-Div: Pfutsero; Nusa Thisa, Vice President Sub-Div: Chozuba; Weti Kapfo, Jt. Secy. Sub-Div Chozuba; Luchuzo, Vice President Sub-Div Meluri and Thutu Thurr, Jt. Secy Sub-Div Meluri

Membership Fee Submission: All departments have been instructed to submit their membership fees along with a list of names on or before September 30, 2023. It's important to note that the membership covers all employees of the Nagaland State Government who are regular and receive Scale Pay. This excludes Contingent and Fixed Pay employees.

Department Representatives: Each department is required to nominate two representatives, preferably one Health Assistant (HA) and one Cashier, to represent their department. These nominations should be submitted to the CANSSEA Phek District Unit. This measure aims to facilitate better communication and the seamless functioning of the Association.
