Tseminyu Covid-19 quarantine committee held an emergency meeting on 25th May 2020 at GHSS building Tseminyu Town. The meeting discussed ideas about management of returnees in quarantine centres where various groups consists of NGOs/Volunteers, GBs and government officials have been set up including Reception and Liaison, Logistic and centres management, Medical, Security, Information and Publicity, Sanitation and Water supply, Electricity, Waste disposal and disinfection. All concerned department officers participated in the discussion.

ADC Nokchasashi Kichu chaired the meeting, where he acknowledged the responsibilities shared by NGOs/Rengma Hoho, RSU, RSZ, TYO, Traders Union, Town GBs. ADC reminded all the leaders of NGOs which also include Team CRBC led by Executive Secretary Haiwalo Apon, and government officials in Tseminyu Sub-Div to continue their much needed efforts for indefinite management duty on covid-19.

RSU President Heiko Kent invited the government employees and public of Tseminyu Sub-Div to continue to come forward in any possible ways for the cause of preventive and protective measures on covid-19. Kenneth Kath, President Rengma Selo Zi spoke about the sincere concern from public for safe stay of the returnees in Tseminyu quarantine centres.

Concerning ready accommodation rooms for returnees in five quarantine centres at Tseminyu, EAC Rozy Sangtam, informed the meeting that there are fifteen for women and thirty for men, for which construction works for immediate completion of makeshift/temporary toilets and others at GHSS building is being undertaken in a systematic manner.
