The monthly Kiphire District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 16th October 2024, under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & vice Chairman DPDB Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumar at DC’s Conference Hall, Kiphire.

Temsuwati extended a warm welcome to the members present and the meeting began with review of the previous agendas followed by introduction of new agendas. While discussing on the application for registration of society in respect of Tizisa Cultural Club Society, Sangphure village under Kiphire, the board approved the proposal and forward to the higher authorities for registration.

NGOs from Kiusam Area and Kiphire requested the district administration to apprise the line departments regarding improvement and maintenance of drainage system in Kiphire town area under the aspirational development projects.

The Chairman reminded the board regarding the visit of the Finance Minister of India to Kiphire in the month of November 2024 and discussed the preparation for the visit. The Deputy Commissioner also urged the members to be in their respective place of posting and to be well prepared with their departmental activities.

Superintendent of Police Kiphire, Chinese Chakhesang, ADC Kiphire, Longdiba L Sangtam and GM, DIC Kiphire, Y. Intsangju also spoke in the meeting.
