Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Paiwang Konyak, visited the District Hospital Mon on 23rd November 2024. Minister extends his gratitude to the CMO, Doctors and the staff for their hard work and warm welcomes. He also acknowledged the presence of the civil societies, district administration led by ADC. He informed that his visit is not just a normal official tour but comes with a purpose to assess the shortcomings of the department on the issue of infrastructure, development work in the hospital. He stated that there are many shortages of Medical Doctors, especially the specialist Doctors in the state, and informed that the government is doing their best to fill up the gap.

Minister also stated that his main purpose of visit is to oversee the Food Safety and Drugs Control in the district. He also appeals to the civil societies to cooperate for the welfare of the people. Earlier the minister also released the Quarterly Access, Issue-1, July 2024 to September 2024, of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Mon, Nagaland.

The Minister was accompanied by Commissioner & Secretary, Additional Director, Principal Director and senior Doctors from the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
