Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, notified that in view of the impending arrival of the stranded persons from different parts of the country, a Total Lockdown is hereby enforced on 9th June 2020 in Tizit Sub-Division with the following conditions:

1. Movement of public is strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies
2. All shops except Pharmacies will remain closed
3. Movement of private vehicles is strictly prohibited.
4. All Central/State Government Offices are exempted from the purview of this Order.

The Total Lockdown is enforced with a view to facilitate transportation of people to different Quarantine Centres in Tizit Sub-Division.

Any person found violating this Order will be penalised under relevant provisions of the law.
