The Voluntary Blood Donors Association Nagaland (VBDAN), in collaboration with several organizations, organized a successful blood donation camp at Kisama Heritage Village as part of the 25th Hornbill Festival celebrations on 6th December 2024. The event aimed to replenish blood banks in local hospitals and medical facilities, addressing the critical demand for life-saving blood donations.

The camp was conducted in partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland, HDFC Bank, Canara HSBC Bank (Life Insurance), Blood Centre NHAK, Imagi.NATION, 13th Assam Rifles, 164 TA Naga, imprint, and 5th Note. Notably, 25 volunteers from the 164 Territorial Army and 13th Assam Rifles stepped forward to donate blood.

The program, chaired by Bendang Imsong, Advisor of VBDAN, opened with an invocation by Lujeka Assumi, Associate Pastor of SBCK. Burakum, President of VBDAN, delivered the welcome address, while Ainato Yeptho, Chairman of VBDAN, extended the vote of thanks.
