The Fire and Emergency Services, Kiphire conducted a fire evacuation drill and rescue method training at Saramati Modern View High School, Kiphire to promote fire safety and awareness on 5th May 2025. Students and staff participated in the demonstration to learn important evacuation procedures and basic rescue methods in case of emergencies.

The session aimed to equip the school community with essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively during fire incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals on the premises. The drill included practical simulation of fire scenarios, highlighting the importance of quick and orderly evacuation.

Participants were trained on using fire extinguishers and handling emergency situations calmly. By actively involving the school community, the event fostered a culture of preparedness and vigilance towards fire safety.

This hands-on training not only increased awareness but also instilled confidence among students and staff to respond effectively in real life fire emergencies.

Overall, the initiative served as a proactive step towards creating a safer environment within the school premises and enhancing the overall safety consciousness of everyone involved.
