:Along with the rest of India, Kiphire also conducted the Sub - National Immunization Day (SNID) Polio Day on 12th October 2025, immunizing all the children under the age of 5 years with two drops of Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) at five locations namely- District Hospital Kiphire, Local Ground, Traffic point main Town, South Zone Church and at Longthonger Junction. The Polio day was supervised by Dr. Yelo T. Mero, DPO (RCH/UIP)
