Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru convened a meeting with President NZPO; Kuki Inpi; President Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland; Zeme Council Nagaland; Liangmai Council Nagaland; Rongmei Council President and Zeliangrong Maipui organization Nagaland on 16th October 2025 at DC’s office, Peren.

The meeting was convened relating to the Upcoming Unity Mini Hornbill Festival 2025 at Peren. The meeting thoroughly discussed the forthcoming Unity Festival which is scheduled to be held from 4th – 6th December 2025. The house unanimously decided to construct each tribal Morung at Zero Point Beikingpuichak for the celebration of Unity Mini Hornbill Festival. The meeting also deliberated and discussed in detail regarding the programme schedule, and how to celebrate the festival in a grand manner. The meeting thoroughly deliberated on showcasing the traditional items by each Tribal Hoho.
