Yingli College Longleng organized its Parting Social Programme under the theme “A Bittersweet Goodbye” on 10th April 2026, at Borgohain Hall, to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing batch of 2023–2026. In his welcomed address, General Secretary (YCSU), Heong Phom, warmly welcomed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the occasion.
A tribute presentation by the 2nd Semester students expressed gratitude and appreciation to the seniors for their guidance and contributions. The segment “Voices of Gratitude” featured speeches by representatives from the juniors, faculty, and outgoing students. Magazine Secretary (YCSU), Hentong, spoke on behalf of the juniors, while the Department of History, Mhayano Odyuo represented the faculty, and former General Secretary, Shingdang shared his reflections on behalf of the outgoing students.
Associate Youth Pastor LTBC, N. Tenhau, offered a blessing for the journey ahead, encouraging the seniors as they prepare to step into a new phase of life.
The event concluded with a speech delivered by Vice President (YCSU), P. Baumei Phom, followed by a vote of thanks by Joint Secretary (YCSU), Shingli, who expressed sincere appreciation to all contributors, including faculty members, students, and those who worked behind the scenes.
The event concluded with a photo session titled “The Final Capture,” marking the close of a memorable and meaningful programme. The Parting Social Programme stood as a reflection of unity, gratitude, and celebration of shared memories, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
