The coordination meeting for the 8th edition of Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEX) was held on 20th April 2026, at DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland.
While chairing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Niuland, T L Kiusumong Tikhir said that the coordination meeting is a preliminary discussion for the 8th edition of (NEPEX) 2026 which is to be held on 30th April.
Tikhir stated that the Mock drill is the real test of our capabilities and abilities for the real-time disaster scenario and urged all the stakeholders to participate with all seriousness on the upcoming events.
During the meeting, work assignments were also distributed to various departments and civil societies by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Atsangla.
Dr, Rovizelhou Kuotsu, District Project Associate, DDMA Niuland gave an insightful presentation on NEPEX.
