Advisor for New & Renewable Energy, Er Picto Shohe called upon Dr. Sanjay O' Neil Shaw, Deputy Director General, Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati on 22nd June 2026, to discuss on the matters relating to meteorological studies and highlighted the need of a dedicated Energy Meteorological Cell in the Department.

The Advisor expressed his gratitude and the cooperation shown by the RMC and hope to strengthen the utilization of renewable energy in the state of Nagaland.

The Advisor was accompanied by Linda Solo, Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Dept, Er. James Khala, Director, NRE and other Officials from the Department of New & Renewable Energy.
