A review meeting on the ongoing Phase-I House Listing and Housing Census under the Census of India 2027 was held at the Office of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Jakhama, on 24th July 2026. The meeting was chaired by SDO (Civil), Jakhama, Vineikho Tetso, NCS.

Chairing the meeting, the SDO reviewed the progress of the house listing and housing census activities under Jakhama Sub-Division and appreciated the efforts of all officials involved in the exercise. He urged the field functionaries to maintain accuracy, ensure timely completion of the remaining work, and strictly adhere to the census guidelines.

During the meeting, officials informed that around 90 percent of the Phase-I House Listing and Housing Census work has been completed in the sub-division. The remaining work is expected to be completed within the stipulated timeline. The meeting was attended by census officials, supervisors and other officials associated with the Census 2027 exercise.
