POSHAN MAAH CELEBRATION HELD AT MON

A cooking competition & local food show for Mon Block was organized as part of the celebration of Poshan Maah 2022 with the theme, "Mahila & Swasthya (Women & Health)" at Hongpoi Village, Mon on 20th September 2022.

CDPO Mon, H. Laitak Konyak gave a briefing on Poshan Maah where he stated that the objective of the celebration was to unite and bring about creative and indigenous nutritious ways for a healthy lifestyle. 

Short speeches were delivered by BDO cum BMM RD Block Mon, T. Tingyeih Konyak, and Hongpoi Village Council Chairman, Manto.

The Chairperson of the programme was Block Program Manager, NSRLM BBMMU Mon, S Yatao Konyak.       

The chairperson also delivered the vote of thanks while the invocation was pronounced by Pastor HBC, Rev. Phowang. 

Altogether, 54 items participated in the cooking competition and seven groups at the Local Food Show.
