In response to significant landslides and rockfalls near the Dikhu Bridge along the Chantongya-Longleng road, all vehicular movement, including Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs), will be restricted starting from 15th September 2023, between 7:00 A.M and 6:00 P.M, until further notice.

Travelers have been strongly advised to avoid using this route during the specified restriction timing. Instead, an alternative route is recommended as follows: Longleng - Chingtok (IR Camp) - Merangkong - Netnyu.

This measure is being taken in the interest of safety and to prevent any potential accidents or delays caused by the precarious conditions of the Chantongya-Longleng road.
