Advisor, New & Renewable Energy and NSDMA, Z Nyusietho Nyuthe inaugurated Sakhi: One Stop Centre at Meluri on 13th October2025.

Nyuthe in his inaugural speech, urged the officials and staff to ensure that the Centre caters a home of miracle for the women, who are in distress can find counselling, hope and comfort. He also appealed particularly to the women civil societies, to take responsibility and extend cooperation to the Sakhi One Stop Centre’s staff for the welfare of the Meluri District.

In his welcome address, the Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson, DLC, Mission Shakti, Meluri, K. Mhathung Tsanglao said that, Sakhi: One Stop Centre, provides support and services to women affected with violence in private and public spaces. It offers assistance with legal and psychological support, including domestic violence etc.

The Inaugural programme was attended by all Heads of Offices under Meluri district, public leaders and Civil Societies of Meluri.
