State Emergency Operation Centre COVID-19 Control room, Home Department has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 26th May, 2020.  Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland   Hiazu Meru stated that, while remedial steps taken against violations 109 Vehicles were challaned  under MV Act and imposed fines  =Rs, 15.400. (Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred).

Further the report stated that, shops for food grains, groceries, medicine and Milk were opened in all the districts. It is also said that, there was no report of any shortage of food grains, groceries, Milk or Medicine in the state.

Further, the report stated that, there was no restriction on movement of essential service providers like electricity, telecom facilities, medical facilities etc and personnel/workers in manufacturing units and commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and e-commerce.

Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions. The report stated that from 2 (Two) active relief shelters camps 15 (Fifteen) persons were housed and from 2 (Two) active food camps more than 1224 (One thousand two hundred Twenty four) daily wagers/needy persons were provided with food and dry rations by Government and NGOs.
