A one-day training on Integrated Fish Farming, under education, training and extension programme was organized by the Department of Fishery & Aquatic Resources at District Fishery Office, Wokha on 21st June 2023.

Resources persons, Khriezetou, AFI; Rimachang, AFI and District Fishery Officer, Wokha, Rulanthung Ezung supported by the technical staff under DFO, Wokha appraised the trainees on integrated fish farming and its benefits. Stressing on the importance of integrated fish farming, the resource persons encouraged the trainees to follow as this type of farming as it offers great efficiency in resource utilization as waste from one system is effectively recycled and it also enables effective utilization of available farming space for maximum production. Around 30 trainees from different villages under Wokha district attended the training.
