Intensified pulse polio immunization was observed at Shamator along with the rest of the country. The Super Sunday Immunisation was graced by Deputy Commissioner, Thsuvisie Phoji and Superintendent of Police, Amit Kumar along with the medical staff.

MO Shamator, Dr. Mhathung thanked the DC and SP for the huge encouragement through their services. The immunization was held at PHC Shamator and in all health care centres across the District.
