Inter-Ministerial Central Team visited Tening on 12th December 2022. The team was headed by Superintending Engineer (c) Brahmaputra Basin Organization, Central Water Commission, and Assistant Director (PFC-1) Department of Expenditure, MoF North Block, New Delhi accompanied by NSDMA Peren.

At the outset, ADC Tening, Imsenperong Wati (NCS) welcomed the team and briefed the overall situation of Tening sub-division.

A short powerpoint presentation on the disaster situation faced by Nsong circle was presented by EAC Nsong, Yimkum. I. Ozukum (NCS).

He also highlighted some of the grievances and major problems face by Nsong area people during monsoon seasons and said that due to incessant rains and natural calamity road connectivity were cut off by landslide hampering the lifeline of the Nsong area villages.

Others who attended the meeting with the IMCT team included Nsong Village council members headed by its GB and concerned line department.
