Inter-ministerial central team (IMCT) visited Mokokchung on 22nd April 2022.

The objective of the team's visit was to verify and take on the spot report of every affected area/report on the drought report submitted by the Nagaland state government to the centre in the year 2021.

The central team had an interaction session with the DDMA Mokokchung at Hotel Whispering winds along with Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS.

The briefing was held on the Draught report and its effects on livelihood in the District during the said period. PowerPoint presentations on the topic was given by nodal departments:

1.      Veterinary Animal Husbandry

2.      Agriculture

3.      Horticulture

4.      PHED

5.      Meteorology department

The team also visited Longkhum village and had interaction with the farmers. The central team included:
