An interactive session of district administration and civil societies was held at ADC Office Meluri on 11th February 2023, where Kumar Ramnikant IAS DC Phek and Bharat Laxman Markad IPS SP Phek were also present at the meeting.

The meeting dwelt at length on a peaceful situation for the forthcoming election. DC Phek requested the gathering, especially to the Civil Societies for peace and tranquility in order to have a good image of the community. The civil societies represented by Pochury Hoho, Pochury Mother's Association, and Pochury Student's Union assured the August gathering that all due possible assistance and cooperation will be given to the administration and police department as well. Civil societies were also of the opinion that no political party should fabricate false propaganda and unrealistic publications on social media. ADC Meluri Albert Ezung was confident that with the cooperation of the civil societies, a smooth election process can be conducted peacefully. 

SP Phek Bharat Laxman Markad IPS, President Pochury Hoho, President Pochury Mothers Association, and President Pochury Students Union also spoke at the occasion.
