Along with the rest of the world, International Girl Child Day, 2021 celebration programme was held at Ngwalwa Village Council Hall, under Peren District on 11th October 2021 with the theme "Digital Generation, Our Generation". The programme was organised by District Administration in collaboration & DLCW-MSK-BBBP in collaboration with Sakhi-OSC and Childline 1098, Peren. 

Speaking on the occasion, Centre Administrator-OSC, Asuni urged the women and child to be vigilant about what is taking place in the society. She also asserted that the world has been digitalized after the impact of COVID-19 and the digitalization should not be taken for granted, instead should emphasize more on the brighter side of technology for building a better world and a safer place for women and child.

Earlier, the function was chaired by WWO MSK-DLCW, Heiriateilei while welcome address was delivered by EAC incharge Ngwalwa, Tsenthungo E. Ngullie, which was followed by short speeches from Counselor OSC, Grace Newmai, Childline 1098 & DAPCU. The programme concluded with vote of thanks which was proposed by EAC Hq. Peren, Kevethito Rose.
