The Department of A.H. & Veterinary Services held an Introductory meeting with the Advisor of A.H & Veterinary Services, Kazheto Kinimi and the Commissioner  & Secretary, A.H & Veterinary Services, Vikeyie Kenya, IAS on 24th March 2023 at the Directorate Conference Hall.  The meeting was chaired by the Director of A.H. & V.S, Dr. Nsanthung Ezung. While welcoming the dignitaries, he expressed his hope that under the dynamic leadership of the Advisor, the department will be taken to higher heights of achievement and progress. An overview of departmental activities was highlighted by the Addl. Director, Dr. Thungben Yanthan. A short speech was also delivered by the Commissioner & Secretary, Vikeyie Kenya, IAS, where, he emphasized on the overall development of the department through the co-operation of all the officers.

Advisor in his speech said that the Department of A.H & V.S. is a major & key department that can directly contribute to the economic growth of the state and affect the lives of the rural population. Besides policy implementation, he stressed on the streamlining the department by posting the right officers in the right post to deliver and do justice to their assignments. He appealed to the department officers to work more sincerely and work as a team to reach its potential. The introductory meeting was attended by officers from Medziphema & Kohima and officers & staff in the directorate.
