Advisor, Prisons, Printing and Stationery H.Haiying inaugurated ITC Dan (Pangsha) to Shinnyu road on 13th January 2021 at Shinnyu Village in the presence of Advisor, DUDA N.Bongkhao Konyak.

During the inaugral programme, Haiying stated that the inter district road of Mon and Noklak, constructed under the Department of Under Developed Area, is a milestone achievement of Tobu Area of Mon district and Pangsha area of Noklak district. Since very long time, we have being longing for this road and today, our dreams has been fulfilled, he said.

 This road will become the lifeline of the region where connectivity between the neighbouring villages of Khiamniungan and Konyak which is of paramount importance and necessary as our ancestors have being living peacefully. For development in the most remote region, he sought cooperation from all walks of life to support the government in all developmental activities. 

Advisor DUDA N.Bongkhao Konyak in his speech, expressed his sincere appreciation to the contractor and officers of DUDA department, for the successful completion of road. He also thanked the Villagers, NGOs and all walks of life for co-operation and requested them to continue their support to the government.

Khiamniungan Tribal Council, vice-president L. Buming in his short speech expressed appreciation to the Advisors namely,  Haiying and Bongkhao for their efforts to complete the road and expressed hope that the road will be a lifeline of the region.

Executive Engineer, DUDA, Er. Imti Chang presented the technical report on construction of ITC Dan to Shinnyu village road. Dedication of road was led by Shinnyu village Baptist Church, Pastor, Phonglei Konyak.

Advisor H.Haiying also inaugurated the football ground of Shinnyu village which was constructed under DUDA and also declared the Tobu Area Students Union sports meet open at Shinnnyu village.
