A joint coordination meeting in view of the ensuing Nagaland Assembly Election was at the Deputy Commissioner's office, Karbi Anglong, Assam on 19th December 2022 at 3:00 PM. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Karbi Anglong and Deputy commissioner, Dimapur, Nagaland. Deputy Commissioner Dimapur and Karbi Anglong welcomed all the members present and highlighted the agenda of the meeting which was regarding coordination meeting in view of the ensuing Assembly Election. The DCP (Headquarter) Dimapur highlighted the security arrangement for the upcoming General Assembly Election 2023 and requested the SP, Karbi Anglong for security assistance as and when required. The SP, Karbi Anglong assured all possible help to the police officials during the election. The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur also discussed liquor prohibition in the state and requested assistance from Karbi Anglong for assistance regarding checking on the smuggling of liquor in the Dimapur district. The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur highlighted to the house various agendas so as to ensure a free and fair election in the State.
