The 14th international Naga wrestling championship was held on 4th December 2021 with Advisor Youth Resources and Sports, Er. Zale Neikha as a special guest at the Amphi Theatre, Kisama.

Speaking at the event, Neikha said that the Naga wrestling was one of the oldest traditional games of the Nagas and added that Naga wrestling was by far the highest grossing sports event in the State. Where sports have become a lucrative industry and a good sports person can become ambassador of the country as one successful sportsperson can uplift the fame of the Nation. He encouraged the NWA to play an active role in promotion of Naga wrestling to higher heights and also encouraged the other Naga tribes to come forward and participate in every tournament.

Kezhaseluo Pienyii emerged as the winner of the 14th international Hornbill Naga Wrestling Championship, and walked away with a price cash amount of Rs 1,20,000; first runner-up, Dzieselatuo Keretsu bagged a cash prize of Rs. 80,000;  Atuo Tevo second runner-up won Rs.40,000/-, and third runner-up, Kekhriezo Nagi bagged Rs. 20,000/. Shekho Veini won the Amateur/Tourist category and won a cash price of Rs. 30,000/- while second position, Moses Puomai won Rs.20,000/-  and the semi-finalists were awarded Rs. 10,000/- each.

During the inaugural program, the event was chaired by Press secretary NWA, C. Theyo, while administration of oath was taken by Jt. Secretary NWA, Amos Zeliang.
