Nagaland Board of School Education has informed that the Sports Authority of India (SAI) is organizing a 2 days (1.5 hour each) online training programme/webinar on Zoom app for Physical Education teachers on 2nd -3rd March/4th -5th March, 2021 at 2:30 – 4:00 pm.

Sports Authority of India is developing a 4-stage framework – Grassroots, Development, Excel and Elite – to capture different sporting pathways. Physical fitness assessment of school going children is first step towards grassroot talent identification. This identification of talent needs to be done by all teacher inclusive of PE teachers in schools.

After the training, Physical Education Teachers will be able to register their school, create profile for themselves, upload students’ data, usage of KIFA and learn how to do Assessment.

Steps to Register- Whole of school approach to Fitness with Head of institution/ Principals of Nagaland Schools: Date – 01/03/2021, Time – 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Steps to register as Principal/HM:

1.      Go to https://schoolfitness.kheloindia.gov.in/tot.aspx

2.      Click on register > Select Principal

3.      If already registered enter registered Khelo India Principal ID/email id/ phone no

4.      If new, Click on Register your School > Fill the required school details

5.      Submit

 

Online TOT for PE Teachers/Teachers of Nagaland Schools:

Date – 2nd -3rd March/ 4th -5th March, 2021, Time – 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

Steps to register as P.E. TEACHER/SPORTS COACH:

 

1.      Go to https://schoolfitness.kheloindia.gov.in/tot.aspx

2.      Click on register > Select P.E. TEACHER/SPORTS COACH

3.      If already registered enter registered Khelo India Assesor ID/email id/ phone no

4.      If new, Register as new P.E. Teacher/Sports Coach > Fill the required Assessor Details

5.      Submit

 

In order to revive the Sports Culture in the State of Nagaland, all the Heads of Institutions and Physical Education teachers (both Government & Private) have been requested to register and attend the online training programme without fail.
