Kiphire District Planning and Development Board members after lengthy deliberation decided to recommend the proposal for upgradation of EAC Longmatra and EAC Sitimi to SDO(C) HQ to the higher authority in the DPDB meeting held on 8th February 2022 at the DC's Conference hall under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, T. Wati Aier.

The board members also discussed and approved the proposal for Registration of Longmatra Area Students Union and recommended for necessary action to the higher authority.

In the meeting, power point presentations were given by four departments- PHE, Agri, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, MGN Fello Sukanyas and PIRAMAL SWASTHYA. Deputy Commissioner also directed Cooperation Department and Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department to present PowerPoint presentation in the next DPDB meeting.

Earlier, new four members DPA & DDMA, Bubu Patrick Golmei; DSO, Auguvito Sumi; JSO(S&WCD), Shekimu H. Sumi and AEO(Election), Bisalee Thonger were introduced to the Board members.

In view of the Governor’s arrival, the Deputy Commissioner informed all the Heads of Offices to reach DC Office compound by 10:20 AM. Further, DC also gave necessary directives and guidelines for the program.
