Kiphire District Task Force held a meeting under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and DTF Chairman, T. Wati Aier on 20th April 2021 at DC's Conference Hall. The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTF informed that all medical officers and staff need to be in the station to carry out their duties. The DTF members deliberated to strictly enforce the following guidelines:
1. All the public and religious gathering are permissible with 50% capacity with proper SOP.
2 People coming from other districts and states will have to home isolate for Ten days mandatorily.
3. Random testing will be taken at schools, colleges, Government Offices, taxi stand etc.
4. To activate Covid care centre at Kiphire and Pungro town.
5. To enforce night curfew starting from 7 PM to 5 AM and restrict assembly of five or more person during the curfew.
6. To strictly monitor people coming from international boundaries like Myanmar, where the Village Guards are informed to monitor.
7. Any activities or gathering should get prior approval from the DTF.
8. Paid quarantine will be activated in the district and Rs.400 will be charged per person.
9. Citizens without mask will be fined Rs. 100 and Shopkeepers without hand sanitizer and hand wash will be fined Rs. 500.
