KIPHIRE OBSERVES 13TH NATIONAL VOTERS' DAY 2023

The 13th National Voters' Day 2023 was observed in Kiphire on 25th January 2023 at the DC's Conference Hall Kiphire. The programme was held under the theme - "Nothing like voting, I Vote for sure." The event was graced by DC & DEO Kiphire, Wati Aier NCS.

While addressing the gathering, he said that 'National Voters Day' has been celebrated every year across the country to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, which was established on 25th January 1950. He also informed the gathering on the summary revision of Electoral rolls on matters relating to the correction of names, ages, or addresses for the final draft of the E roll. He then led the pledge-taking ceremony.

Earlier, Opening remark was delivered by ADC & ERO Kiphire, D. Robin followed by a special song performed by Tsapichum LDA, while a Short Speech was given by T. Luthong Yimchunger PA to DC Kiphire.

During the programme, V. Leochum A/T from 59 AC, and Setongkyu G/T Singrep from 60 AC were felicitated as the best BLOs. Felicitation was also offered to Yukhase Anar Disabled Union President Kiphire. EAC and i/c AEO Kiphire Sizin chaired the program.
