Horticulture Department Longleng organized Kisan Mela-cum-Exhibition and Sales Day under MIDH 2020-2021 at District HQ on 13th October 2022 at public ground Longleng. Seven vegetable-growing Villages from different blocks were invited to participate in the event.

During the inaugural programme, Trongdipa Tongpi Sangtam, SDO (Civil) Longleng acknowledged the Department for various farmer-oriented activities initiated in the district and encouraged the farmers to be more sincere, and make use of all the available resources.

Earlier, Talimeren, DHO Longleng welcomed the gathering while Ango Phom and Wanmei Phom from Yongam and Tangha villages respectively gave a short speech on behalf of farmers. Fresh and Organic local farm produces were sold in the exhibition stalls during the day-long programme.
