A farewell Programme in honour of the outgoing Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa; SDO (C), Shaying Sheu and EAC Kezocha, Vineikho Tetso was held in DC’s conference hall on 5th March 2021.
Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS in his speech thanked the outgoing officers for their efforts and contributions towards the successful management of various activities in the district.
Acknowledging the role played by the outgoing officers in various assignments, in managing and handling number of issues, Elections, disasters related matters and towards the fight of COVID-19, Gregory said that they have given their best efforts and contributed a lot in all the activities and further felt that the district will be losing most capable and refined officers today.
Gregory said that with the vast experiences gained and knowledge contributed by the outgoing officers, he expressed confident that they will come back here in some other capacity in near future and further wished them good health and best wishes in their new assigned works.
The outgoing ADC, in her farewell speech thanked everyone for their support and cooperation towards the successful implementation of various activities and making her stay a successful and memorable one. She expressed that working with DC Gregory, was a great experience where she had learnt a lot from him, which she would be taking back wherever she may be posted. Lithrongla said that her contribution towards the district might be a drop of water in the ocean however the experiences gained were enormous and further thanked everyone for making it possible.
Outgoing SDO (C), Shaying and EAC Vineikho also gave their farewell speeches where they also expressed the privileged to work in State capital under capable and dedicated seniors. They both were thankful for the valuable guidance, advises and support extended towards them.
Rakalung delivering speech on behalf of the staffs of DC Office, Kohima highlighted the good qualities and efficiencies hold by each outgoing officers in handling various situations during their stay. He also narrated some good and fun memories of them and lighted up the farewell mood.
On the occasion, the ‘Kohima Against COVID-19’, a report on activities undertaken by District Task Force on COVID-19, Kohima District was launched by Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS and outgoing ADC Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa.
The farewell Programme was chaired by Revenue Officer, Kelevituo Nisa while invocation was offered by Zakiesato Khatso and Special number were presented by Head Dobashis, Lhaliezhu and Ketuoraviü Marina of DC Office, Kohima.
