The Kohima District Task Force (DTF) for Immunization held a meeting for Routine Immunization and MR Drive at DC's Conference Hall, Kohima on 9th June 2023.

At the meeting, District Program Officer (RCH/UIP), Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro highlighted the action taken on the last DTFI meeting and updated on MR Elimination. Sr. Medical Officer (WHO), Dr. Sheila Longkumer informed the members about the performance of Routine Immunization (RI) and a short briefing on School Health & Wellness Program was given by Program Officer, MCGL India Yash Jhpiego, Dr. Onno Jamir.

During the meeting, updates on School Health & Wellness Program in the District was highlighted by District Education Officer, Emilo Patton, while topics on Maternal, Perinatal, Child Death Surveillance & Response (MPCDSR) was highlighted by IB- Gyn, NHAK. After the group discussion, the meeting wrapped up with the closing remarks by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C. IAS 

        The meeting was attended by the officials from KMC, Rotary Club, WHO, NMC, UNICEF, I.A.P, UNDP and Medical Officer from Urban PHC Kohima.
