A day-long programme of NDPP Kohima Region Inter-A/C Sports Meet cum Get-Together organized by Kohima Region was held on 24th June 2022 at IG Stadium.

In the closing function, Advisor for Excise, Sericulture & Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio thanked the officials both from Central and Unit for organizing such an event and encouraged them to keep the trend in the coming days. The Advisor also urged the party workers to be more responsible, and dedicated, have an accommodative spirit, and work hard to reap the fruit.

Advisors Dr. Nicky Kire, Er. Zale Nekha, Medo Yokha, MLA & Chairman DPDB Keneizhekho Nakhro, Advisor to CM, Abu Metha, and Advisor TaFMA, Theja Meru were part of the programme.

The Kohima Region consists of six units namely 8th Western Angami A/C, 9th Kohima Town A/C, 10th Northern Angami I A/C, 11th Northern Angami II A/C, 14th Southern Angami 1 A/C and 15th Southern Angami II A/C.

In volleyball (Women) 15th Southern Angami II A/C emerged as the winner and the Runners Up was bagged by 14th Southern Angami I A/C and in Men's Football, 9th Kohima Town A/C became the Champion defeating Chief Minister Eleven 3-0.

Earlier the program was chaired by Kechangulie Kense, a special number was presented by Keneiletuo Metha, Vocalist DGP Band, Prizes were distributed by the Special Guest, and a Vote of thanks was pronounced by Keduolhoulie Huozha, Working President NDPP.
