Land Resources Department organised a farewell programme in honor of the outgoing Director, T. Renben Lotha at the Directorate of Land Resources, Kohima on 31st, January 2022.

A. Pangjung Jamir, incoming Director lauded Lotha for his tremendous contribution to the department and said that under his leadership, the department has achieved alot.

Jamir, mentioned that the department will always remember him for introducing the good practice of wearing a traditional attire to office every Monday in directorate and the districts.

Further, Jamir said that through the initiative of the outgoing Director, many projects were implemented and an MoU was also  signed with South African company paving the way for export of  Nagaland coffee, and the farmers are getting good prices also the young entrepreneurs are been encouraged for the same in all the districts. He added that Lotha's motivation to work and the good example he has set will continue to be his legacy after his retirement.

The programme was chaired by Joint Director, C. Vanchamo Ngullie.  Speeches was also delivered by Registrar, Botovi Sema; Districts representative, Lipichem Apo; State Level Nodal Agency, SPC, Inatoli Chishi; Family Self Help Group; UDA Anungla Ozukum; family, friends and well-wishers. A special number was presented by Alobo Naga.
