A two-day workshop on the Legal Metrology Act, Rules, and the modernization of Legal Metrology commenced was held at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on 9th October 2025 organised by the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Kohima.
The inaugural session was graced by the Secretary of the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (LMCP), Wonchio Odyuo. Dr. Rajeshwar Kumar, Director of the Indian Institute of Legal Metrology, Ranchi, Government of India was the resource person for the workshop.
The workshop was attended by enforcement officers and ministerial staff from the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (LMCP).
