Speaker NLA, Sharingain Longkumer and Minister Rural Development Nagaland Metsubo Jamir visited the district COVID-19 Hospital Mokokchung on 6th May 2020 and interacted with the Medical Officials on the preparedness of Medical response in the eventuality of outbreak of COVID-19 call in the district. They also inspected the ongoing improvement & new development of necessary infrastructures needed works undertaken in the hospital.

Earlier, Minister in charge COVID-19 Mokokchung Metsubo Jamir Minister Rural Development held a review meeting on preparedness COVID-19 in the district with the District Task Force COVID-19. The meeting held in the planning hall, Mokokchung.

Addressing the meeting the Minister said that we are facing a very serious situation and this seriousness of the situation should be taken up by all the people properly. He also added that those villages in the state border areas need better intervention in essential commodities Medical and Security issues. The Minister also assured all possible help in his capacity.
