In exercise of the power conferred under section 30 (1) (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and in order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS has ordered the sealing of L.I.C, Dimapur branch for 48 hours from the date of issue of this Order, during which time necessary sanitization of the premises shall be done by the management.

Any person violating the containment measures will be penalized as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section- 188 of the IPC.
