As part of the Hornbill festival, traditional shot put competition was held at Heritage Village, Kisama on 4th December 2021.The event was organised by the department of Youth Resources and Sports. Altogether 15 people participated in the competition. 

Likho Sangma of Garo tribe bagged the first position while Jangsat Hangsing from Kuki tribe and Tsaptsi Kapui Zeliang secured the second and third positions respectively.
