An extension of the Hornbill festival 2021, the Lidi Kro-u Society, Kohima village successfully organised a live demonstration of various cultural items from 2nd to 5th December 2021 at Kohima village.           

The event was conducted under the theme "promotion and preservation of traditional skills and knowledge" where various activities including folk songs, Tati, thupfheütsanuü, nuokepfüpfe, traditional headgear weaving, traditional rice pounding and folksong narrations were carried out during the four day event. A number of local and national tourists gathered for celebrating the Hornbill festival visited the site and also took part in the live demonstration during the event. 

The event was conducted with an aim to promote and preserve the Angami traditions and culture through various programmes and training activities for the younger generation. 

The Ledi Kro-u Society, a registered society was established in 2012. In 2013, the society released a music album based on Angami traditional songs and also released a documentary called 'Thejanuo' - the musical in 2016, based on "Noukhrienuo Kelhou Rüli", a book written by Dr. Neiphrezonuo Mepfhüo.
