A meeting in regard to the "Har Ghar Tiranga" programme under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, commemorating the 75th year of India's Independence was held at DC’s Office Longleng on 3rd August 2022 under the chairmanship of Dharam Raj (IAS) Deputy Commissioner Longleng.

Addressing the meeting DC said as per the directive from the Government, every household in Town, Villages, and Government Offices/Establishments should host the National Flag from 13th to 15th August 2022. He also urged all Block Level Officers and Administrative Officers to organize activities like the Selfie competition holding the national flag and Walkathon in all blocks and towns from 8th August 2022.
