Along with the rest of the world, Longleng Town Council celebrated International Yoga Day at pubic ground, Longleng on 21th 2023 under the theme "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". The event was led by SDO (Civil) Longleng, Trongdiba Tongpi T Sangtam.

In his brief note, SDO (C) Longleng, Trongdiba Tongpi T Sangtam highlighted the importance and benefits of practicing Yoga and maintained that Yoga plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy life, both physically and mentally, and urged the gathering to make it a part of their daily routine. 

The event was attended by participants comprising of sanitary workers, town sweepers and office staffs.
