The District Administration, led by EAC, Nsong, Peren Tumben P Tsanglao, NCS, inaugurated a market shed at the Tri Junction of Nagaland- Assam- Manipur under Ngaulong Lodi village, Peren under the banner of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) on 20th March 2021.

            Special Guest, Tumben P Tsanglao congratulated the people on setting up the market shed. He said that with the market shed, basic goods like foodstuffs, cloths and household items including agriculture and horticulture would be available. He also appealed the people to maintain friendly relations with the neighbouring states.

            The EAC highlighted on the programmes under BBBP like Samridhi Sukanya Yojana. He informed that the sensitisation programmes for COVID-19 vaccination drive and the role of women in the grassroots level leadership is in progress. 

            The programme was chaired by Chairman of the village, Chiwang while Kalak delivered the welcome address.
