A mass social work drive was conducted across Meluri Town and Meluri Village on October 26, 2026, in preparation for the forthcoming visit of the Governor of Nagaland to the district.
As part of the initiative, residents of Meluri Town and Meluri Village undertook cleanliness and sanitation activities in their respective localities, while officers and staff of various government departments carried out social work in their designated areas.
The drive aimed to promote cleanliness, maintain a hygienic environment and encourage collective responsibility among the public and government departments.
