In view the upcoming Independence Day celebration, a mass social work was conducted on 9th August 2021 at district headquarter Longleng.

a.       Village Wise and Department wise Work distribution during the mass social work are as under:
1. Upper police point to Naga junction, done by Hukphang village and the Department incharge was DFO (Forest) & KVK.

2.      Upper police point to Yingli College, done by Bhumnyu village and Yongam village. The department incharge was LRSO & DESO.

3.      Agri circular road to High School Police  point,done by Yongnyah village, Pongo Village and Tangha village. The department incharge was DHO (Horti) & DPO (Planning).

4.      Upper police point to NST, done by Pongching village and Mongtikang village. The department incharge was SS (NST) and Fire and Emergency service.

5.      NST to Public group, done by Yachem village. The department incharge was STO (Treasury) & DSO (Sericulture).

6.      Police Station to Vision Vale school, done by Nyan village and Kangching village. The department incharge was Water Resources and Soil.

7.      Public ground to High School Point, done by Yaongyimchen village and Tamlu village. The department incharge was DSO (Sports) & SBI.

8.      High School Police point to Lempong junction, done by Yongshei village and the department incharge was LRD & DEO (Election).

9.      Lempong junction to District Hospital,  Lempong junction to PhomLempong School and Lempong junction to Longleng gate, done by Orangkong village and the department incharge was CMO & DEF.

10.  Upper police point to SP office, done by Yongphang village, Sakshi village, Yangching village and Auching village. The department incharge was DFO (Fisheries) & Tourism department.

11.  The disposal of waste was done by Longleng Town Council.

All shops and business establishments remain closed during the mass social work.
All citizens and government employees actively participated in the mass social work.
Besides, 4 Wards also participated in their respective wards especially Bahok ward approach road and circular road shamkang ward.
